Club Welfare Officers (CWOs) should keep handy the phone number for their local police child protection office, in an emergency dial 999.

 

Local Authority Children Services

CWOs should know the phone number for their area Duty Officer, in an emergency the Samaritans would be able to provide this number.

 

Local Safeguarding Children Board

CWOs to keep a note of the contact details for their regional LSCB Chairman available from the government website www.everychildmatters.gov.uk
