More than 250 bookings have already been taken for the International Festival of Athletics Coaching (IFAC), supported by UKA and sportscotland, to be held in Glasgow from 30th October to 1st November 2009.
The event, which will build on the success of the European Athletics Coaches Association (EACA) Conference hosted by scottishathletics in Glasgow in 2008 and will follow the theme of 'A 2020 Vision', will include an impressive roll call of world class speakers including Athletics icons Sergey Bubka, Wilson Kipketer and Adam Nelson.
A number of world class experts will also join the team including Cuban Santiago Antunez and Jamaican Fitz Kholman.
For the first time, the event will deliver programmes for three strands of delegates: 'Beginner' (targeted at Level 1 and 2 coaches), 'Development' (targeted at Level 3 coaches) and 'International Elite' coaches.
