For a sixth year, The Daily Telegraph, with athletics’ No 1
sponsor Aviva continues 'School Sport Matters', the campaign that highlights
exemplary practice in PE and sport in schools.
The Awards seek to generate debate on the delivery of sport
in schools, and to celebrate the achievements of pupils, teachers and schools
across the country culminating with a prestigious national awards ceremony,
this year on 3 November at Wembley Stadium.
The stories entered from schools will be entered into 10 categories in the
School Sport Matters Awards 2010 and will go before our judging panel.

State School of the Year
Independent School of the Year
Specialist Sports College of the Year
Student of the Year (male)
Student of the Year (female)
School Sport Teacher of the Year
School Team of the Year
Excellence in Disabled Sport
Contribution to School Sport
Aviva Unsung Hero.
The top three entries per category which are short-listed will be invited to the
awards ceremony.
The closing date is midnight 17 September 2010 and entries can be made online
