Scottish record for Allan Scott

Allan Scott (Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers) lowered the Scottish indoor 60m hurdles record to 7.52 seconds at the DM Hall Scottish Closed Championships at Kelvin Hall, Glasgow, today.

It completed a golden double for Scott, who won the flat 60m in 6.82 yesterday after clocking 6.81 in his semi-final.

He will now hope that he has impressed the selectors who meet in the next few days to finalise the Norwich Union Great Britain and Northern Ireland team for the Norwich Union Indoor International at the same Glasgow venue on 26 January.
