Registration Open for Endurance Officials and Race Organisers Conference

Registration for delegates to attend the Endurance Officials and Race Organisers Conference opened today, being hosted at the new Village Hotel in Solihull on 10 October 2009, to coincide with Birmingham’s hosting of the IAAF World Half Marathon a day later.

UKA and RunBritain are working together to promote opportunities for endurance officials as well as educate those new to endurance officiating and planning mass participation races.

A series of short presentations, seminars and workshops will be on offer to delegates registered on the conference, with speakers including Chief Executive of Scottish Athletics Geoff Wightman and former international athlete and Director of the London Marathon David Bedford.

Places are limited to the first 100 delegates to register via the online application form, early booking is therefore advised for those who are interested in attending. The conference is free to attend for registered delegates.
