What Happens if your Schedule Changes Suddenly?

For athletes – to immediately update your whereabouts – please follow this link to the Adams website

You can make last minute changes online to your whereabouts information up until the last minute before a timeslot begins. Please note that all changes are time and date recorded so retrospective changes cannot be made.

If you find that there is an unexpected change to your schedule, and you do not have access to a computer, please use one of the following options:

You can call UKAD's Athlete Whereabouts line: 00 8000 WHERE R U (94373 7 8) and leave your change of details. The time of the call is recorded so you should make sure you do not notify us of changes after they have occurred. (The cost of the call is free from land line telephones).

  • You can text message UKAD on +447786 202407 leaving your name, sport and

  • change of details including dates, venues and times (charged at your normal service

  • provider rate).

  • You can fax 0800 298 3362 with all relevant details.

  • If you are unable to access the Adams website, you can email UKAD at athlete@ukad.org.uk to inform them of changes to your current day’s whereabouts information.

What happens in an emergency situation?

If you have missed a test because of an emergency situation, you will be given the opportunity to explain the situation to UKAD once the ‘missed test’ is reported to you.

An emergency situation does not refer to general changes or hitches in your plans, for example, getting stuck in traffic, or feeling a twinge in your hamstring so deciding not to turn up at training.

An emergency is when you are not able to notify us of any change to your whereabouts due to truly exceptional circumstances. Such circumstances will be determined on a case by case basis.
